Job description:

A Housekeeper plays a pivotal role in ensuring the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas within the hotel. Responsibilities include daily servicing of guest rooms in compliance with hotel procedures, stocking carts with necessary room supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest amenities, all while adhering to company standards and safety/security guidelines. In certain instances, this position may also involve performing ‘deep cleaning’ activities within guest rooms as part of preventative maintenance efforts.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; prior experience in hotel or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
  • May involve disassembling furniture or items in guest rooms to facilitate deep cleaning.
  • Deep cleaning tasks may encompass changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls/moldings, addressing scratches on furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
