Responsibilities
As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the Community and residents’ apartments are maintained in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

• Housekeeping Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive housekeeping duties for the Community and individual resident apartments. This includes, but is not limited to, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning high-traffic areas such as the main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios, and resident apartments.
  • Manage specific tasks within resident apartments, including cleaning and defrosting refrigerators as needed, checking and cleaning heat system filters, changing bed linens, and ensuring adequate linen supplies are present in each apartment. Assistance may be provided for tasks like mattress turning and emptying waste baskets.
  • Conduct deep cleaning of apartments as necessary, paying particular attention to entry areas, carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures.
  • Launder all linens using the provided laundry facilities.
  • Adhere strictly to the company’s sanitation and safety protocols.
• Server Responsibilities
  • Welcome residents and guests at each table with a warm smile while serving beverages, cereals, and/or soups/salads from the dining cart.
  • Clearly and courteously review the meal menu, take resident orders, and serve meals and desserts.
  • Return the cart to the kitchen and assist with the storage of perishable items. If necessary, deliver trays directly to resident rooms.
  • Bus and clear dishes from tables post-meal, resetting for the next meal while following appropriate sanitizing procedures for tables and chairs as outlined in the Food Service Guidelines. Perform vacuuming and other cleaning as needed.
  • Complete designated side work, such as refilling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, and maintaining cleanliness of the coffee maker.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Effective communication skills in English with employees and residents.
• General understanding of sanitation and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to retain and manage multiple orders (up to four at a time).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
