Company: Powerlink

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $17.59 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $17.59 for a “Housekeeper, EVS, Patient Room Cleaning, Hospital Cleaning” role in Detroit, MI, is slightly below the average wage for similar positions in the region, which typically ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, specific duties, and the employing healthcare facility. While the rate may attract some candidates, it may not be competitive enough to retain experienced staff considering the physical demands and responsibilities associated with hospital cleaning, especially in the context of heightened hygiene standards following the COVID-19 pandemic. Thus, to attract and retain qualified personnel, employers might need to consider adjusting their pay rates to align more closely with industry standards.
