Summary/Objective:
As a Housekeeper, you will provide essential daily housekeeping services to ensure that patients and residents experience a safe, clean, and sanitary environment, all while adhering to applicable laws, regulations, and facility guidelines.
Essential Functions:

- Execute daily housekeeping responsibilities as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere closely to established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Conduct thorough cleaning of floors through dust mopping, wet mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming.
- Maintain cleanliness of movable and stationary furnishings throughout the facility.
- Sanitize various fixtures, including restrooms, light fixtures, and water fountains.
- Dust and disinfect horizontal surfaces throughout the facility.
- Remove trash and sanitize waste containers.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms in both resident rooms and public areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in public spaces such as corridors, stairwells, elevators, and lobbies.
- Clean equipment and work areas as assigned by management.
- Stay informed of federal, state, and facility regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Attend ongoing educational in-service programs.
- Follow safety protocols during the performance of all duties.
- Understand the facility’s fire and disaster plans, adhering to established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
- Perform various other tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping or Environmental Services management.

Work Environment:

Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and agents is required, and candidates must be free from infections or diseases while being able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Required Education and Experience:
