We are actively seeking dedicated individuals for full-time and part-time Housekeeper positions.

Location: Detroit Receiving Hospital, 4201 Saint Antoine Street, Detroit, MI 48201. Please note that applications are accepted online only.

Schedule: Positions offer flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time options available. Working hours typically range from Monday through Friday, with variability; rotating weekends and holidays are required. Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties that uphold the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Key tasks involve making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Perform floor care, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, draperies, and shampoo them as needed.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fittings, and clean metal fixtures.
  • Manage waste disposal in a sanitary fashion and empty trash containers.
  • Sanitize wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down and keep glass surfaces clean.
  • Make beds and change linens as required.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to established layouts.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest inquiries and housekeeping requests.
  • Address housekeeping emergencies, such as spills or broken glass, as they arise.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
