We are currently seeking to fill a full-time Housekeeper position immediately.

Located at MyMichigan Saginaw – 800 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601, this role involves a full-time schedule with varying days from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, including rotating weekends and holidays. Job Summary:
The Housekeeper is responsible for performing light cleaning duties across various establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals, to maintain a clean and orderly environment. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality customer service through meticulous attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fittings and fixtures.
• Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean washbasins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Change linens and make beds as necessary.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to established layouts.
• Address guest inquiries and requests.
• Respond to housekeeping issues such as spills and broken glass.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
