Job description:

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for full-time Housekeeper positions.

Location: Bosch Plymouth – 15000 Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. Please note that we accept online applications only.

Schedule: This is a full-time position with hours from Monday through Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements: While previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour. Additionally, a $250 sign-on bonus will be awarded after 90 days of employment.

Job Summary: The Housekeeper will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in a variety of establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Key responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Change linens and make beds as necessary.
  • Rearrange furniture and amenities according to the designated layout.
  • Address guest queries and requests promptly.
  • Respond to housekeeping emergencies, such as spills or broken items.
  • Contribute to team success by demonstrating professionalism towards customers and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
