Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Execute cleaning duties including dusting, damp mopping, and sanitizing designated areas, including patient and common rooms. Responsible for the removal and disposal of trash and other related responsibilities as assigned.
  • Safety: Use protective gear as required. Ensure the safe and proper mixing and application of cleaning solutions, reporting equipment and product needs promptly. Adhere to established safety and quality standards and follow infection control protocols to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, completing assigned cleaning tasks per schedule.
  • Customer Experience: Uphold HCSG’s values by being courteous and cooperative with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage with residents, staff, and guests in a positive and tactful manner.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and effectively follow oral and written instructions while performing routine tasks.
  • Post-training, utilize leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and without injury.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality are required.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as mandated by State, Local, and/or Customers.
  • Ability to lift/carry and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capacity to perform routine tasks continuously and work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must reside within the service area.
