Position Summary
– Housekeeping: Execute cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities, including dusting and damp mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning patient and dining room furniture, as well as the removal and disposal of trash.
– Safety: Utilize protective gear consistently and correctly. Responsible for the safe mixing and application of cleaning solutions, adhering to safety protocols, and promptly reporting equipment or supply needs to supervisors. Ensure that safety and quality standards are consistently met. Follow infection control measures and universal precautions policy to maintain a sanitary environment.
– Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and punctual arrival, completing assigned cleaning tasks as per schedule. Respond appropriately to paging systems in a timely manner.
– Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following directions and interacting courteously with supervisors, colleagues, and client staff.
– Resident Experience: Engage in pleasant and tactful conversations with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
– Display a positive attitude with the capacity to follow both oral and written instructions, efficiently managing routine, repetitive tasks.
– Upon completing appropriate training, leverage leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently and safely.
– A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
– Dependability is essential; candidates must be punctual and present as scheduled.
