Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Execute housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities, including dusting, damp mopping, and sanitizing bathrooms and patient room furniture. Responsibilities also include trash removal and other related duties as assigned.
  • Safety: Utilize protective gear appropriately, ensure the safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions, and report any equipment or cleaning product needs to a supervisor. Adhere to established safety, quality guidelines, and infection control protocols.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance, arrive punctually, and complete assigned cleaning tasks as scheduled. Respond promptly to paging systems.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively through courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive, pleasant, and tactful communications with residents, staff, and facility guests.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated positive attitude with the ability to follow both oral and written instructions while performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • Capability to utilize leadership skills post-training to fulfill all responsibilities independently and safely.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be dependable and punctual, with scheduled work attendance required.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as mandated by state, local, or customer policies.
  • Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activity, including standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
