Position Summary
- Housekeeping: Execute cleaning duties including dusting, damp mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning patient room and dining room furniture. Responsible for the removal and disposal of trash and any additional assigned duties.
- Safety: Employ protective gear in all relevant functions, ensuring safe and appropriate mixing and usage of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety guidelines. Promptly report equipment or cleaning product needs to your supervisor. Meet established safety and quality standards and follow infection control procedures.
- Punctuality: Exhibit consistent attendance and punctuality. Complete assigned cleaning tasks in alignment with the schedule and respond to the paging system accordingly.
- Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by adhering to instructions and maintaining courteous and cooperative relationships with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
- Resident Experience: Engage in positive, pleasant, and respectful interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, performing routine tasks consistently.
- After completing the required training, leverage leadership skills to fulfill responsibilities independently without causing injury to oneself or others.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must adhere to the scheduled work hours and be punctual.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by State, Local, and/or Customers is mandatory.
- Ability to lift or carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push or pull a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, or walk for extended periods.
- Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Residency within the service area is required.
