Position Summary

  • Housekeeping: Responsible for performing cleaning duties, including dusting, mopping floors, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning patient and dining room furniture. Duties also include the removal and disposal of trash and any other related tasks as assigned.
  • Safety: Use protective gear for all appropriate functions. Ensure the safe mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to safety protocols. Timely reporting of equipment or cleaning product needs to the supervisor is essential. Compliance with infection control and universal precautions policies is mandatory to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and timely arrival for all shifts. Complete assigned cleaning tasks as per schedule and respond promptly to the paging system.
  • Customer Experience: Represent HCSG positively by following instructions, and maintaining a courteous and cooperative demeanor with supervisors, co-workers, and client staff.
  • Resident Experience: Engage in positive, respectful, and tactful interactions with residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Exhibit a positive attitude and the ability to follow both oral and written instructions, successfully performing routine, repetitive tasks daily.
  • After completing all required training, demonstrate leadership capabilities to fulfill responsibilities independently while ensuring personal and team safety.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are crucial.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, per state, local, and/or customer requirements, is necessary.
  • Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and be on your feet for extended periods.
