Job description:

As a Housekeeper at Healthcare Services Group (HCSG), you will be instrumental in ensuring a clean and safe environment within a long-term care facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily housekeeping duties, which include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
  • Adhere to established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions to uphold a sanitary environment.
  • Foster positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with residents, staff, and HCSG leadership to fulfill daily responsibilities.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
  • Ability to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push or pull up to 50 pounds, and engage in standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods.
  • Capacity to perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Ability to work safely around cleaning products.
  • Proficient in following both oral and written instructions for performing daily tasks.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
