Job description:
Position Summary: This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of hospital facilities in accordance with hospital policies, departmental standards, and regulatory agency requirements. The incumbent will ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Clean and restock all designated areas in line with departmental standards and guidelines.
– Dispose of trash, biomedical waste, and solid waste materials in designated disposal areas.
– Prepare patient rooms for occupancy after patients have been discharged.
– Replace supplies as necessary.
– Notify supervisors of potential issues and safety hazards.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Preferred:
– A minimum of six (6) months of experience in housekeeping or maintenance.
– A high school diploma or GED.
