Job description:
Position Summary: Responsible for upholding the cleanliness of hospital facilities in compliance with hospital standards, departmental protocols, and regulatory agency requirements. The role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
– Clean and restock all assigned areas in accordance with departmental standards and guidelines.
– Dispose of trash, biomedical waste, and solid waste materials in their designated disposal areas.
– Prepare patient rooms for occupancy following patient discharges.
– Restock supplies as necessary.
– Notify the supervisor of any potential issues or safety hazards.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Preferred:
– A minimum of six (6) months of experience in housekeeping or maintenance.
– High school diploma or GED.
