Job description:

A Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest rooms, hallways, and public areas of the hotel are consistently clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing. This position requires daily servicing of guest rooms in accordance with hotel procedures, which includes stocking the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing room amenities while adhering to company standards and safety protocols. Additionally, the Housekeeper may be tasked with conducting deep cleaning activities within guest rooms and assisting with preventive maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in hospitality or related fields is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills with guests and team members, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag as per brand standards.
  • Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
  • Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms during each shift.
  • Perform pre-cleaning duties, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for the housekeeping cart.
  • Remove all trash and soiled linens from guest rooms.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
  • May be required to disassemble furniture or items in guest rooms for deep cleaning.
  • Deep cleaning tasks may include changing air conditioning filters, cleaning AC coils, touching up paint on walls and moldings, repairing scratched furniture, or rehanging sliding doors.
