We are currently seeking to fill part-time Housekeeper positions, with immediate openings available.
Location: Henry Ford Genesys Hospital, 1 Genesys Parkway, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Please note that applications are accepted exclusively online.
Schedule: This is a part-time position with varying days and hours on the 1st shift, including rotating weekends and holidays. Further details will be provided during the interview process.
Requirements: While previous housekeeping experience is preferred, it is not mandatory as we are willing to provide training to the right candidates.
Compensation: The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary: The Housekeeper will perform light cleaning duties to ensure establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals maintain a clean and orderly environment. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Delivering quality customer service with a keen focus on attention to detail.
– Sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and polishing floors.
– Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and draperies.
– Shampooing carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
– Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures.
– Cleaning metal fixtures and fittings.
– Emptying and sanitizing trash containers.
– Disposing of waste in a hygienic manner.
– Cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
– Wiping down glass surfaces.
– Preparing beds and changing linens as necessary.
– Realigning furniture and amenities according to the designated layout.
– Addressing guest inquiries and requests.
– Responding to housekeeping issues such as spills and broken items.
– Contributing to team efforts and exhibiting professionalism towards customers and colleagues.
– Performing additional duties as assigned.
