Job description:

We are actively seeking to fill part-time Housekeeper positions.

This position is located at Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital, 1 Genesys Parkway, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. Please note that we accept applications online only.

The schedule for this role is part-time, with varying days from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM, including rotating weekends and holidays. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

No prior housekeeping experience is necessary, as we are willing to provide training.

We offer a set schedule along with paid training to our employees.

Compensation for this position ranges from $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary
This role involves performing light cleaning duties to ensure that establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by attending to details.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to guidelines.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Address housekeeping issues, such as spills or broken glass.
• Collaborate with team members; maintain professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
