We are currently seeking to fill part-time Housekeeper positions immediately. Located at the Henry Ford Health Genesys Hospital – 1 Genesys Parkway, Grand Blanc, MI 48439, we only accept applications submitted online.

Job Summary:
The role entails performing light cleaning duties to sustain a clean and orderly environment across various establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service with keen attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash receptacles while disposing of waste hygienically.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Organize furniture and amenities according to the specified layout.
• Address guest inquiries and requests.
• Respond to housekeeping issues, such as spills and glass breakages.
• Contribute to team efforts while exhibiting professionalism towards customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
