We are currently seeking part-time Housekeepers to join our team at Henry Ford Providence Southfield located at 16001 West 9 Mile Road, Southfield, MI 48075. Please note that we only accept online applications for this position.

As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include performing light cleaning duties to ensure establishments such as hospitals, restaurants, and hotels are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Key duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provide excellent customer service by attending to individual details.
– Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
– Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
– Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
– Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
– Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
– Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of waste properly.
– Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
– Wipe down glass surfaces.
– Make up beds and change linens as required.
– Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
– Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
– Address housekeeping issues such as spills or broken items.
– Contribute positively to team efforts, maintaining professionalism with customers and colleagues.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.
