We are actively seeking part-time Housekeepers to join our team immediately. The positions are located at Henry Ford River District Hospital, 4100 South River Road, East China, MI 48054. Please note that applications will only be accepted online.

Job Summary:
The Housekeeper will perform light cleaning duties to ensure establishments—such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals—are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service with a focus on one-on-one attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens when required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to established layouts.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Address housekeeping issues promptly, including spills and broken items.
• Collaborate with team members and maintain professionalism in interactions with guests and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
