We are currently seeking to fill part-time Housekeeper positions, available for immediate hire. The worksite is located at MyMichigan Saginaw, 800 South Washington Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48601. Please note that we only accept online applications.

This is a part-time role with varying days and hours. Potential shifts include: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Additional details will be provided during the interview process. No prior experience is necessary for applicants.

The compensation for this position is $15.00 per hour.

Job Summary: The Housekeeper will execute light cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness and organization of various establishments, including hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities will include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery as necessary.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make up beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities to the prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
• Address housekeeping issues, such as spills and maintenance concerns.
• Contribute to team efforts, exhibiting professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
