Job description:

We are currently seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our team at MyMichigan Saginaw Town Center, located at 4599 Towne Center Road, Saginaw, MI 48604. This position offers flexible scheduling with varying days and hours, primarily during the 2nd shift. Further details regarding the schedule will be discussed during the interview process.

While previous housekeeping experience is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement. The pay rate for this position is $15.00 per hour.

As a Housekeeper, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness and order within various establishments. Your tasks will consist of making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and performing routine vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exemplary customer service with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery as needed.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean and maintain metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers, disposing of waste in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces for a polished finish.
  • Make beds and change linens as required.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to established layouts.
  • Address guest inquiries and requests promptly.
  • Respond to housekeeping issues, such as spills and broken glass.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and exhibit professionalism in interactions with guests and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
