Job Summary
The Housekeeper will perform light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly environment in establishments such as hotels, restaurants, and hospitals. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and hallways, and vacuuming.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality customer service through meticulous attention to detail.
  • Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
  • Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
  • Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
  • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
  • Empty and clean trash containers; dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
  • Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
  • Wipe down glass surfaces.
  • Make beds and change linens as required.
  • Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
  • Respond to guest queries and requests.
  • Address housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glass.
  • Contribute to team efforts and uphold professionalism with customers and colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
