Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning duties (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) for assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas on a daily basis in accordance with facility protocols.
  • Respect guests’ privacy and preferences regarding room arrangement and personal belongings. Knock before entering guest rooms and bathrooms.
  • Clean walls, ceilings, windows, mirrors, and waxed floors following departmental procedures and established cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure that housekeeping supplies are consistently secured and out of reach of guests.
  • Dispose of trash and waste, including biohazardous materials and other items requiring special handling, in accordance with facility policies.
  • Post signs to indicate safety hazards when housekeeping activities may pose risks to guests, associates, visitors, or others in the facility.
  • Assist with laundry duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Preferred one year of experience in housekeeping.
