Responsibilities:
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the following:
– Conduct thorough inspections of the work performed by Room Attendants and Housemen within your designated zone to ensure that guest rooms and floors adhere to Radisson’s high standards of cleanliness.
– Identify and address maintenance requests through effective radio communication and by utilizing Asset Essentials.
– Design and implement new operational standards as necessary.
– Provide assistance to housekeeping staff as needed, including making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning bathrooms and hallways, and vacuuming.
– Deliver constructive feedback to staff members, ensuring the consistent quality of work among all Room Attendants and Housemen in your assigned area.
– Conduct periodic inventories of service areas and Housekeeping storage to maintain adequate supplies.
– Communicate and delegate tasks professionally via radio.
– Assist in training new employees on cleanliness standards, brand expectations, and customer service excellence.
– Provide feedback in a supportive manner and lead your team with enthusiasm and motivation.
– Utilize downtime effectively to perform self-inspections of guest room floors, guest rooms, elevators, and service areas, ensuring that cleanliness and condition standards are consistently met.
– Collaborate with other Rooms Division leaders to guarantee that all guest rooms are prepared for check-in by 4:00 PM.
– Maintain open lines of communication with the Laundry team to ensure that all linens, towels, and supplies are readily available for Room Attendants throughout the day.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess the following:
– A minimum of two years of housekeeping experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
– Exceptional cleaning skills and attention to detail.
– Capability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more.
– Ability to stoop, bend, and lift items weighing up to 40 pounds occasionally.
– Knowledge of safe handling practices for cleaning chemicals and equipment.
– Commitment to complying with safety and health code standards.
– Willingness to perform tasks that require repetitive motion.
