Job Description
Job Title: Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant
Company: The Meadows of Ottawa
Location: Ottawa, OH
Pay: $13.69 – 16.11 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $13.69 to $16.11 for a Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant in Ottawa, OH, appears to be slightly below the national average for similar roles, which typically ranges from $14 to $22 per hour depending on experience, certification, and specific job responsibilities. In Ohio, wages for housekeeping roles generally align with the lower to mid-range of the national scale, but this offering may still be considered non-competitive, especially in the context of rising living costs and the current labor market conditions where many employers are increasing wages to attract workers. Overall, while the rates might be acceptable for entry-level positions or part-time work, they may deter more experienced candidates looking for competitive compensation in this field.
