Job Description
Job Title: Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant
Company: The Oaks at Jamestown
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Pay: $14.41 – 16.96 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $14.41 to $16.96 for a Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant position in Grand Rapids, MI, appears to be competitive and generally aligns with industry standards for similar roles in the area. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for housekeeping staff nationwide typically falls between $12 to $18, depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. Given that Michigan’s minimum wage is gradually increasing (with recent adjustments nearing $10.10 as of 2023), the proposed rate is above minimum wage and suggests a reasonable compensation considering local cost of living factors. Overall, the pay range reflects a fair market value for this position, especially for an entry-level or moderately experienced worker in a key services area like housekeeping and laundry.
