Responsibilities include supervising all Housekeeping and Laundry Aides, as well as:

– Developing and ensuring adherence to a comprehensive cleaning schedule that encompasses all areas of the facility.
– Ensuring that cleaning products, equipment, and procedures comply with all applicable regulations.
– Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for all cleaning products.
– Adhering to safety instructions and protocols when using chemical substances.
– Developing and overseeing staffing and supply budgets.
– Preparing and submitting reports as needed.
– Facilitating housekeeping staff participation in relevant in-service training sessions.
– Attending and contributing to facility meetings, including those related to Infection Control, Safety, and Quality Improvement, as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

– A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
– A minimum of two (2) years of housekeeping experience in an institutional environment is preferred.
