Responsibilities:
– Obtain a list of vacant rooms that require immediate cleaning, as well as a list of rooms expected to check out, to prepare work assignments effectively.
– Examine rooms, hallways, and lobbies, reporting any maintenance issues to management.
– Change and replenish linens and amenities in guest rooms, ensuring the appropriate handling of soiled items and linens.
– Clean and/or replace any soiled or damaged items within the rooms.
– Disinfect and sterilize kitchenette and bathroom areas thoroughly.
– Sweep, vacuum, and polish various floor areas to maintain cleanliness.
– Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies as needed.
– Dust all furniture and equipment to uphold hotel standards.
– Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills to ensure a pristine environment.
– Empty and replace liners in wastebaskets throughout the property.
– Clean all outdoor patio areas and furnishings.
– Complete cleaning checklists for each room and perform inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
– Conduct inventory checks to ensure adequate supply levels, restocking carts and storage as necessary.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in utility and storage rooms.
– Undertake special tasks as assigned by management.
– Address guest requests for additional supplies or information promptly.
– Keep supervisors fully informed of all significant issues and unusual matters.
– Maintain a clean and well-organized workstation.
– Provide assistance to fellow room attendants in any area of the resort as required.
– Complete section reports within designated timeframes, updating status according to cleaned rooms.
