Position Summary
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be tasked with administering and coordinating housekeeping functions within assigned sections, as well as fulfilling the duties of the Executive Housekeeper during their absence. Your responsibilities will include supervising daily operations to ensure the maintenance and sanitation of guest rooms, public areas, and the pool/health club. Additionally, you may oversee laundry operations, recommend procedural enhancements, and monitor inventories and expenditures. This position requires a commitment to operate seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day.

Physical Responsibilities
The role necessitates exerting physical effort when lifting or transporting a minimum of 25 pounds and pushing or pulling carts and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. Candidates must be able to navigate various physical movements within the workplace, which encompasses the front office and all areas of the hotel. The position involves operating in varied temperature conditions and noise levels, both indoors and outdoors, and requires the ability to stand and maintain well-paced mobility for extended periods. The work environments include guest rooms, guest and service corridors, and the housekeeping office, where employees may encounter odors, dust, biohazards, and chemicals, necessitating safe and effective handling practices.

Preferred Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent work experience.

Related Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Room Attendant is required, with a preference for prior experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Inspector.

Skills: Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred. Candidates should have knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and chemical handling procedures.

Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing entry-level employees is required, with a proven track record in a similar role.
