In this Role:
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of housekeeping and laundry personnel, ensuring efficiency and productivity in all cleaning operations.
- Provide mentorship, support, and training to uphold elevated standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, in alignment with AAA Four Diamond benchmarks.
- Deliver consistent training in service protocols to enhance delivery uniformity.

- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily operations, including staff scheduling, room assignments, maintenance requests, and a variety of guest services.
- Coordinate and supervise daily housekeeping functions, encompassing room cleaning, public space upkeep, and laundry tasks.
- Assign roles, track performance, and ensure conformity to established operational procedures and quality standards.
- Quickly and effectively resolve any operational challenges or guest concerns.

- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to verify adherence to cleanliness and orderliness standards as per Gun Lake Casino Resort and AAA guidelines.
- Enforce policies that ensure a safe environment for both guests and Team Members.
- Facilitate open communication between departments, particularly with the Front Desk, to maintain seamless coordination regarding room status and availability.
- Maintain effective dialogue with the Executive Housekeeper and other departmental leaders.
- Collaborate with various departments, including front office and maintenance, to promptly address guest needs and operational demands.
- Identify and remedy any operational deficiencies swiftly.
- Address guest concerns and resolve conflicts with professionalism and tact.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to enhance the skills and effectiveness of housekeeping staff.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration to create an engaging and supportive work environment that promotes Employee Retention.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring timely replenishment as needed.
- Oversee the proper storage and handling of supplies to mitigate waste and uphold cost efficiency.
- Liaise with Purchasing and suppliers to secure timely delivery of necessary goods and services.
- Work alongside the Front Desk team to comprehend guest preferences and feedback, making necessary adjustments to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage any Team Member or guest-related challenges that may arise.
- Evaluate, supervise, and provide coaching feedback regarding Team Member performance.
- Suggest improvements for Team Member engagement and guest satisfaction while aiming to achieve targeted retention levels within the department.

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required; some college education or a degree in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience in the housekeeping department of a luxury hotel or resort, ideally with a AAA Four Diamond or higher rating, is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel/housekeeping management software is required; proficiency in Versa and MS Office is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management capabilities, coupled with a strong attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of housekeeping operations, including cleaning methods, equipment usage, and inventory control practices.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations, as well as industry best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a capability to professionally engage with guests and staff alike.
- Capacity to articulate clearly in both spoken and written forms and to actively listen to team members and customers.
