Job Position Description:
This position is essential for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customers. The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– Conducting all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
– Performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom sanitation, vacuuming, and moving furniture and equipment
– Maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
– Utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
– Opening and locking facilities, and enabling and disabling security systems when necessary
– Previous experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous but not mandatory
– On-the-job training will be provided for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
– Experience in a professional janitorial setting, such as an office, hotel, hospital, or school, is a plus
– Flexibility and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a meticulous attention to detail are essential
– Contributing to a positive work climate with a courteous demeanor and supporting the team by being punctual, reliable, and in uniform
– Demonstrating respect and understanding towards co-workers and customers

Physical Demands and Qualifications:
– Frequent (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching overhead and forward; must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs
– Ability to read and comprehend cleaning instructions
– Capability to distinguish between different cleaning products and their appropriate uses
