Position Overview:
The Houseperson/Runner plays a vital role in assisting and supporting Supervisors and Housekeepers to meet established quality and timeliness standards. A successful Houseperson will embody our company’s mission and values.
Essential Functions:

- Uphold a high standard of excellence in all tasks.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in storage closets.
- Assist in stripping units of soiled linens as directed.
- Remove soiled linens and trash from units promptly.
- Prepare linen and supply bags as instructed.
- Deliver linen and supply bags to designated units.
- Conduct walkthroughs of assigned buildings or floors to collect linen, trash, or equipment.
- Report maintenance issues in accordance with company procedures.
- Record lost and found items for the Executive Housekeeper.
- Move furniture as necessary, following directions.
- Operate company vehicles and perform maintenance as required.
- Maintain a safe working environment at all sites and in the office.
- Be prepared to execute all duties related to site operations as instructed by the Executive Housekeeper.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure timely unit turnovers.
- Exhibit punctuality and reliability in completing assignments and appointments.
- Utilize supplies and equipment in an efficient and effective manner.
- Assist in linen inventories and supply management as instructed.
- Address guest complaints proactively and effectively.
- Foster strong and positive customer relations.
- Provide assistance to resort guests and owners as needed.
- Execute guest deliveries as directed.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of the resort and its amenities.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds (with or without accommodation).
- Ability to make informed decisions.
- Planning and scheduling skills.
- Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Commitment to punctuality and meeting deadlines.
- A passion for cleanliness and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work irregular hours as needed.
- Occasional travel may be required.
