Job Title: Houseperson

Company: Sage Hospitality

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay: $16 per hour

AI Pay Analysis: As of October 2023, an hourly rate of $16 for a “Houseperson” role in Detroit, MI, is somewhat on the lower end of the spectrum. According to various job market sources, average pay for similar positions in the hospitality and facilities maintenance sectors typically ranges from $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and specific job responsibilities. While $16 aligns with the lower threshold, it may not be competitive in attracting skilled candidates, especially considering the rising cost of living and wages in many U.S. cities. Therefore, employers might need to revisit their compensation strategy to align with industry standards and remain attractive to potential employees.
