Responsibilities:
Project/Business Responsibilities:
- Manage the Service Profit and Loss (P&L) for designated branch(es).
- Forecast manpower requirements effectively.
- Prioritize customer inquiries and coordinate with dispatch accordingly.
- Ensure adherence to customer requirements and timely completion of calls.
- Validate strict compliance with customer regulations and approve work orders.
- Review dashboards and financial reports, taking necessary actions.
- Oversee the procurement of parts and supplies.
- Maintain consistent communication with customers to meet their expectations.
- Address and resolve issues or problems affecting customer satisfaction.
- Manage and maintain fleet, parts, and materials inventory while resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with customers and subcontractors.
People Responsibilities:
- Clearly communicate company objectives, set expectations, and hold the team accountable for outcomes.
- Provide leadership, foster a collaborative team environment, and recognize team accomplishments.
- Conduct interviews, select, hire, and oversee the onboarding process for supervisors, team leads, and technicians.
- Ensure that technicians are scheduled and dispatched efficiently based on skill level, location, and call volume.
- Manage performance and deliver training, coaching, and constructive feedback to Supervisors, Team Leads, and Technicians.
- Utilize metrics to enforce accountability and enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with service policies and procedures, including eSO, refrigerant tracking, time, and attendance.
- Promote the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe practices among all employees.
- Guarantee that customer service and work quality align with customer expectations and Source standards.
Qualifications:
Project/Business Management:
- High school diploma, GED, or completion of a trade program or technical school; a college degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the refrigeration/HVAC service, commercial construction, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial refrigeration and HVAC principles and practices, including service hour estimation, labor forecasting, and managing multiple disciplines related to the area of responsibility.
- Proficient in understanding and managing Profit and Loss statements.
- Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the capacity to proactively address customer issues and build solid relationships.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety protocols, ensuring compliance with safe work practices and regulations.
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and applicable State and Federal laws.
- Competent in utilizing standard business tools, including email, Word, Excel, Work Order/Dispatch Software, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
- A clean driving record.
People Management:
- Over 5 years of experience in people management.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing a diverse, multi-discipline workforce.
- Proficient in coaching, training, and developing team members.
- Skilled in time management, delegation, and ensuring successful outcomes.
