Are you passionate about providing care and support to individuals in their own homes? Griswold Home Care for Medina, Wayne & Western Stark Counties is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping our clients maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will deliver compassionate and personalized care within the clients’ residences, playing a key role in their overall well-being and comfort. This position offers flexible scheduling with daytime shifts available, typically involving 4 hours of care, with opportunities for longer shifts as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and support dietary needs.
  • Administer timely medication reminders.
  • Provide companionship through engaging conversations and activities.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and other household tasks.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and errands.

Requirements:

  • Preferred experience of 1+ years in caregiving and familiarity with mechanical lifts, although we are willing to provide training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • A compassionate and empathetic disposition.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
