AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 to $19 for an “In-Home Caregiver for Seniors” in Mentor, OH, is generally competitive, though slightly on the lower end when compared to current industry standards. According to various sources, including the Bureau of Labor Statistics and caregiving job platforms, the average hourly wage for in-home caregivers in Ohio typically ranges from $17 to $25, depending on experience, qualifications, and specific job responsibilities. Given the rising demand for in-home care services and the increasing complexity of care required for seniors, salaries are gradually increasing in this field. Therefore, while the offered rate may attract entry-level applicants, it may not appeal to those with more experience or specialized skills.
