Job Description
Job Title: In-Home Caregiver for Seniors
Company: Home Instead Senior Care
Location: Mentor, OH
Pay: $16 – 19 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $16 to $19 for an “In-Home Caregiver for Seniors” in Mentor, OH, is generally competitive, though it varies based on several factors such as experience, qualifications, and specific job responsibilities. According to recent data, the average hourly wage for similar caregiver roles in Ohio typically ranges from $15 to $20, positioning this rate at or slightly above the lower end of the spectrum, which can be attractive in regions with a lower cost of living. However, given the growing demand for senior care services and the increasing cost of living in many areas, caregivers with specialized skills or certifications may expect rates at the higher end or above. Overall, while the offered pay aligns with broader industry standards, it may not fully account for the level of skill or experience required for the role.
