Job Description
Job Title: In Home Caregiver
Company: Senior Helpers of Portage/Geauga
Location: Macedonia, OH
Pay: $15 – 17 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $15 to $17 for an In-Home Caregiver in Macedonia, OH, is generally competitive, especially considering that caregiver wages can vary significantly based on experience, certification, and the complexity of care required. As of 2023, the average hourly wage for similar roles in Ohio typically ranges from $12 to $20, depending on factors such as location and demand. Given that Macedonia is a suburb of Cleveland, the cost of living is relatively moderate, suggesting that this rate aligns well with industry standards, providing a fair wage for entry to mid-level caregivers. Nonetheless, employers might attract a more skilled workforce by offering rates at the higher end of this spectrum, especially in a labor market where demand for caregivers continues to rise.
