Job description:
We are looking for skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians to join our team at our union facility in Baltimore, OH. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to conduct preventive maintenance inspections, as well as perform mechanical and electrical repairs on heavy manufacturing equipment and systems.

The entry-level annual earning potential exceeds $70,000, starting at an hourly rate of $33.00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repair work under general supervision, following established procedures.
- Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Engage in plant-wide safety initiatives, housekeeping, and continuous improvement processes (such as Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing).
- Ensure the reliability of machinery and equipment by executing preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, among other equipment.
- Read and interpret manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to execute maintenance tasks.
- Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments to assess and adjust parts’ dimensional requirements.
- Dismantle devices and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Participate in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- Typically a high school diploma (or equivalent) combined with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in operating machines, hand tools, and electrical equipment.
- Strong operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with a solid mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Basic troubleshooting experience and proven machine repair skills.
- Understanding of pump internals and rebuilding processes, including bearings, seals, and sleeves, along with proper installation and removal techniques.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience in welding, machining, and fabrication is a plus.
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
