Looking for an entry-level position with opportunities for advancement? Vector Technical has partnered with a global leader in the design and application of ceramic fiber products and systems, and is seeking an Industrial Production Associate to join their team.

Shift Information: 1st Shift: 6 AM – 2:30 PM
Compensation: $17/hour (increase upon hire-in)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform repetitive lifting, staging, and stacking of materials weighing up to 50 lbs for extended periods, possibly up to 8 hours.
  • Operate various machinery, including forklifts, welders, power tools, hand tools, and cranes.
  • Manually fold fiber blankets and compress them using hands.
  • Work from elevated platforms such as scaffolding and scissor lifts.
  • Actively participate in safety-related activities, including tool-box talks, safety training, and meetings.
  • Wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including a fall arrest system.
  • Conduct workplace safety observations.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the site and department.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Basic math skills for tasks involving stacking materials, counting, and using a tape measure.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices throughout the facility.
