Job description:
The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing complex Information Technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with government stakeholder expectations. This role necessitates a profound understanding of technical project management methodologies, IT expertise, and exceptional communication skills. The Senior IT Project Manager will guide local teams, develop comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, mitigate risks, and manage project timelines. Additionally, this position includes the management of government stakeholders and ensuring project alignment with the organizational strategy.
By mentoring, leading, collaborating with, supervising, and interfacing with DNI employees and government clients, the Senior IT Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring projects are executed to a level that allows DNI to leverage past performance for securing similar contracts and facilitating organizational growth. Maintaining a stellar reputation with both employees and government stakeholders is essential, alongside adherence to DNI’s corporate vision and mission. Candidates must demonstrate strong personnel leadership abilities to foster morale, productivity, collaboration, and overall performance.
This individual will effectively navigate all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure. Equipment and Systems:

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Requirements:
– A Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience managing government projects in the information technology and/or cybersecurity sectors for both classified and unclassified systems.
– Security+ or an equivalent DoD 8140 certification.
– A minimum of 10 years of experience leading personnel and technical teams.
Preferred Education and Experience:
– At least 10 years of experience leading personnel and technical teams.
– Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
This position requires an active Top Secret clearance from the U.S. Government, subject to requirements.
