Join Johnson Electric as an IT Infrastructure Director for the Americas Region!

We are seeking a professional to lead our technology strategy, drive innovation, and ensure the seamless delivery of IT services across multiple locations, including Plymouth, Michigan; Zacatecas, Mexico; and the Toronto area in Canada. This role requires a commitment to a 100% onsite presence.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $170,000 – $195,000 Base
  • Supplemental Pay: 10%-15% Annual Incentive, Auto Allowance
  • Schedule: Flexible business hours
  • Relocation: A comprehensive relocation package is available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the IT strategy for the Americas region, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives and corporate IT strategies.
  • Lead and mentor a talented team of IT professionals, including managers, engineers, and support staff, promoting high performance and professional growth.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructures, including server systems, networks, data centers, cloud services, and security measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in a global environment.
  • Demonstrated stability in work history.
  • Strong expertise in infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern IT technologies and transformation experiences.
  • Extensive experience in leading global transformation and migration projects.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud and storage management.
  • Proven track record of managing global teams and projects, with an emphasis on organization structure, team development, and financial/business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with modern machine learning, generative AI, and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Experience with technologies such as VMware, Hypervisor, Zscaler, NetApp, or ZPA/ZIA.
