Job description:
Deliver high-quality IT services that meet or exceed the expectations of our clients and stakeholders, with a focus on providing support, compliance, and management of servers, storage, and virtual infrastructure in both on-premise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incidents, events, and change processes effectively.
- Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and privileged access controls.
- Conduct cloud cost analysis while planning for system obsolescence.
- Resolve second and third-line support tickets and provide after-hours assistance as required.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, implement enhancements, and maintain accurate IT asset records.
- Provide support for manufacturing IT, endpoints, telephony, and office solutions.
Key Competencies and Experience:
- Expertise in Azure VMs, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, Certificates, PowerShell, ADFS, DNS, DHCP, and O365.
- Proficiency in Exchange 365, Exchange 2019, Single Sign-On (SSO), Azure Active Directory Proxy, and Conditional Access.
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services for compute and storage solutions.
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
- Experience in privileged access management.
- Proficient in VMware vSphere, vCenter 7+, and Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with all current Windows Server and desktop operating systems; basic UNIX/Linux experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of project management frameworks and vendor management.
Desirable Competencies and Experience:
- Experience with IT service management frameworks and tools, such as ITIL.
- Knowledge of Azure Fundamentals.
- Background in the engineering, environmental, or strategic consulting sectors.
- Qualification in an IT-related discipline.
- Experience working effectively in geographically distributed teams.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and related protocols, along with familiarity with switching equipment.
