Job Description:
This role is essential in fostering cleaner and healthier environments for our customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Conducting comprehensive cleaning duties within facilities using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
– Tasks include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, vacuuming, and moving furniture and equipment
– Managing the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
– Utilizing proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
– Opening and securing facilities and managing security systems as needed
– Prior experience (1-2 years) in a custodial role is advantageous but not mandatory
– On-the-job training will be provided for individuals demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
– Previous experience in a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is a plus
– Ability to maintain flexibility and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment is essential
– Contributing to a positive work climate through a pleasant attitude and professional appearance, while being dependable and punctual
– Demonstrating respect and consideration for co-workers and customers

Physical Demands and Qualifications:
– This role requires constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, and forward. The ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs is required
– Ability to comprehend cleaning instructions
– Knowledge of differentiating between cleaning products and their appropriate uses
