Job Responsibilities:

The Janitorial Technician is responsible for maintaining cleaner and healthier environments for our customers through the following essential duties:

• Execute cleaning duties across various facilities using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom sanitation, vacuuming, and moving furniture and equipment as necessary.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Open and close facilities and manage security systems as needed.
• Previous experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is beneficial but not mandatory; on-the-job training will be provided to individuals demonstrating a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Experience at a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school is advantageous.
• Must possess a flexible attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while paying exceptional attention to detail.
• Contribute positively to the workplace culture by maintaining a pleasant demeanor and supporting team efforts through reliable attendance and appropriate uniform adherence.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand, walk, push, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead or forward for extended periods (up to 100% of the time). Ability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs is required.

• Ability to distinguish between various cleaning products and their appropriate uses.
