Job Position Description:
The Janitorial Technician is responsible for fostering cleaner and healthier environments for our customers by executing the following essential duties and responsibilities, with additional duties assigned as necessary:
– Perform all cleaning duties within facilities using the designated ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures
– Key cleaning duties encompass sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom sanitation, vacuuming, and relocating furniture and equipment as needed
– Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
– Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
– Manage the opening and closing of facilities, including the activation and deactivation of security systems
– Preferably, candidates will have 1-2 years of relevant experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper, though this is not mandatory
– Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for individuals demonstrating a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
– Experience within a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or educational institution is advantageous
– A flexible mindset and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail, are essential
