Job Position Description:

This position is instrumental in fostering cleaner and healthier environments for our clients by executing the following essential duties and responsibilities. Additional duties may be assigned as needed:

– Execute all cleaning operations for facilities using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
– Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom sanitation, vacuuming, and relocating furniture and equipment.
– Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
– Utilize proper personal protective equipment (PPE) where necessary.
– Open and secure facilities, as well as manage the activation and deactivation of security systems as required.
– Previous experience (1-2 years) as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is advantageous but not mandatory.
– On-the-job training will be provided for candidates displaying a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
– Experience within a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or educational institution is favorable.
– Must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
– Contribute positively to the work environment through a pleasant attitude and support for the team by adhering to uniform policies, reliability, and punctuality.
– Show respect and understanding for both co-workers and customers.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

– This role requires constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead, and reaching forward. Candidates must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
