Job description:

The General Cleaner will report directly to the Area Manager.

PROVANTAGE is a rapidly expanding janitorial cleaning company in search of highly motivated and dependable team members. The successful candidate will possess experience with various cleaning tools and equipment, or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn. Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure the general cleanliness of the assigned location
  • Dust all surfaces thoroughly
  • Mop tiled and other flooring areas
  • Vacuum carpets and rugs
  • Remove trash and recycling
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms
  • Restock soap and paper supplies as needed
  • Maintain housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies in an organized manner

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Demonstrated punctuality and a reliable attendance record
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Capability to push or pull weights up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
